I Love You

Two months ago, my sister came to me and gave me this my magazine. I've never seen it or even heard about it, but it was like love at first sight. Before starting to read it, I knew I loved it.
This young based in Berlin magazine mixes all kind of things: photography, illustrations, writtings, latest fashion, interesting interviews, inspiring quotes...
The quality of the pictures is incredible, I keep it like a treasure.
If you get the chance to buy it, don't think twice; you won't be disappointed!

The issue I own is The Princess Issue, the fifth one (Fall 2010) with Paz de la Huerta on the cover. It is about princesses, weddings and pink stuff but all written and made up with that mysterious, weird feeling that makes it magnetic.

I really really recommend it!

Here you have some quotes I really like:

"I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even if they dress in rags, even if they aren't pretty, or smart, or young. They're still princesses"

"The person you love is 72.8% water"

RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD
Taoism: Shit happens
Hinduism: This shit happened before
Buddhism: When shit happens is it really shit?
7th Day Adventist: Shit happens on Saturday
Protestantism: Shit won't happen if I work harder
Catholicism: If shit happens, I deserve it
Jehovah's Witness: Knock, knock, "shit happens"
Judaism: Why does shit always happens to me?
Hare Krishna: Shit happens rama rama ding dong
Atheism: No shit
T.V. Evangelism: Send more shit
Rastafarism: Let's smoke this shit

(isn't it hilarious?!)

"Dear Prince Charming,
just five more minutes!
Sincerely, Sleeping Beauty"

"Dear Mom,
Please stop guilt tripping me. I'm fine the way I am,
and just because you always diet doesn't mean I have to.
Sincerely, your fit but fat daughter"

"You know what luck is? Luck is believing you're lucky, that's all... To hold a front position in this rat-race, you've got to believe you are lucky"

"I fucking hate weddings. I have always hated weddings, even before a undergraduate research project on the Wedding Industrial Complex revealed how far reaching and insidious it is. Even if you think marriage is nifty, weddings are insipid frippery; they have nothing to do with being in a relationship. I hate the froofed-up pretty princess aesthetic, I hate the Passing of the Woman from dad to dude,I hate all the things you "must" do, like have a guest book, and include your friends reading bad poetry, and make everyone do the Chicken Dance at the reception.
I hate that everyone -no, really, everyone- thinks that their wedding was totally original and personalized and equalicious, even though you could set your watch by the lighting of Unity Candles, and virginity fetishism is in full effect and jeezusgawd if I ever hear Canon in D again I will destroy the universe with my explosive scorn. I may have just triggered one thousand defensive "you're judging me!" comments, but so be it.
I'm glad you found a loving companion, but I fucking hate weddings. Even yours."

"The person you love is 72.8% water". Oh, Dios, ¡qué frase tan cojonuda!.

P.D: La canción la descubrí gracias a las serie 'Misfits', que la utilizaron para finalizar un capítulo y desde entonces no pasa un día en el que no la escuche, al menos, una vez.
